Global Youth Name New Species in the Amazon

Teamed up with the founders of the world's first entirely youth-funded nature reserve located in the Amazon. To raise awareness for Reserva, the team launched a free contest for kids around the world to name a new frog species discovered in the Ecuadorian reserve. Expert judges include National Geographic explorer Dr. Albert Lin, the host of the Disney+ original series "Lost Cities".

Washington D.C.'s Official Capital Pride

Snapchat and Giphy partnerships to showcase the 400,000-person-strong Capital Pride D.C. celebration online. Launched official Snapchat account and official filters viewed 5,000,000 times. Facebook Live segment viewed over 150,000 times on the New York Times. Partnered with Giphy to launch official channel where GIFs have been viewed over 430,000,000 times (and counting!).

#LoveSpanish Scholarship, First Social Media Scholarship

First social media scholarship offered on both Facebook and Twitter. Judges included Eva Longoria, Congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen, Fifth Harmony, and representatives from the White House, Twitter, Yale Law School, and the NBA. Over 3,000 student applications from across the United States. Follow up scholarship offered to Spanish-speakers learning English in the U.S. and abroad.

HelpOut LGBTQ+

The most comprehensive database of scholarships and volunteer opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community online. Discover nearly $400,000 in scholarships offered annually. Supported the first historic National Trans Visibility March in late 2019.

#YaleForAll on Change.org

Launched Change.org petition to change the name of a building named after a racist figure at Yale University. Brought together coalition of distinguished Yale professors, current students, and respected alumni. Part of the movement that succeeded in renaming the building in honor of Grace Hopper in 2016.

Indego Africa, Fueling Female Entrepreneurship in Rwanda and Ghana

Crowdfunding campaign to raise over $13,000 to support a social enterprise empowering female entrepreneurs in Rwanda. 100% of profits go towards educaiton and training for entrepreneurs. Earned video in support of Indego's mission from Arianna Huffington.
